r After the delivery of the Governor's speech on Thursday the new membera, Meeara McLean, Sandford and James Allen took the usual oath and their seats. ; A large number of petitions, were presented, including one from the Hon. John Bryce praying for the removal of the resolution of censure from the" journals of the House. Mr G.Hutchiaon has given notioe ; for permission for Mr Bryce to appear at the bar of the House to speak in favour of the petition.
