Suicide.
A young man about 20 years of age named Win Eeady, who was employed by Mr Andrews, on his farm near Levin, committed suicide by hanging himself on a tree in the farmyard on "Wednesday afternoon. His body was discovered last night, and immediately cut down, but of course life was quite extinct. Ho had been working about the farm in the forenoon of Wednesday, and during the past fortnight had seemed to be a little queer in his actions. The constables stationed at Ofcaki and Shannon are at present in Wellington on business at the Supreme Court, and it is not yet known what arrangements are made for the inquest. The inquest on the body of the young man Percy Paddey, was held at McCormick'3 Hotel, Levin, yesterday before Mr W. H. Siracox, coroner. The jury returned a verdict of suicide during temporary insanity. The only relation deceased had in this part of the world was a brother, at present residing in Melbourne, — N.Z. Times.
