Seizure of Liquor.

For some time Constable Gillespie has had suspicions bf their being sly grog .selling going on in Shannon. On Thursday having armed himself with a warrant, he proceeded to the house known as the Wellington and Manawatu Club kept by Timothy O'Loughlin and there Beized a quantity of liquor, spirits, ales &c, which he packed and had conveyed to Foxton. The proceedings against O'Loughlin will probably be heard by the Resident Magistrate at his next sitting in Foxton on the Gth April.
