The quality of the whole was , indifferent, but made fully 16s per lOOlbs. Sheep, in moderate numbers, were steady at quotations. = Cattle.— Medium steers, £6 2s 8d to £6 15s ; light, £ 5 15s to £6 ; fa,t cows, £5 7s 6d. :,.-.. Sheep.— Wethers, 12s 6d to 13s . 7d ; ewes, 10s to 12s.
