The Chilian Government has requested the recall of Mr P. Egan, United States Minister in Chili* They charge him with intriguing to bring about war between the two countries.
The situation is still critical. It is expected that the Chilian Government will not reply to the United States, ultimatum.
The Grand Duke Constantino, cousin of the Czar, has been attacked by paralisis, and is in a critical condition, tie has since died.
The Premier's suggestions that Portugal should sell Mozambique in order to reduce the Natienaldebt has been well received.
The Portuguese press are unanimous in supporting the proposal that the colonies should be sold in order to reduce the national debt.
