West Coast Farmers' CoOperative Association.

At the last meeting of the above Association it was reported that the number of shares already taken up were 1647, representing in capital £8235. The Chairman proposed that the Association be registered forthwith under the Companies Act, notwithstanding that the £40,000 worth of shares arc not yet subscribed for. — t Agreed to. It was also resolved " That the qualification for director be holding shares in number not les3 than ten, equal in value to £50." j The minimum number for the directorate was fixed at nine, and the maximum at twenty. The following gentlemen were elected on the directorate : — Wanganui: Messrs Alex. Higgie, John Bryce, E. E. Fletcher, and Alex. Harrison . Mavton and Bulls : Messrs J. W. Marshall, A. Y. Mcßeth, F. Arkwright, and Geoffrey B. Potts. Feilding and Halcombe : Messrs F. Jacob, J. R. Johnstone, F. Y. Lefchbridge, R. Linton, and T. R. Taylor. Palmerston North: Messrs E. J. Armstrong, J. Cotter, and P. Stewart. Sandon and Carnarvon : Messrs J. A, Bailey, B. P. Penny, R. B. McKenzie, and F. G. G. Cooper. Resolved, That the first annual meeting of the shareholders be held iv Marton the first 3aturday, 7th May, 1892, at 11 a.m.
