Shannon Telephone.
Mr J. G. Wilson, M.HE, has received the following telegram from the Hon J. G. Ward in reply to his memo urging the immediate connection of Shannon with the rest of the world by telephone :— Shannon telephone. There has been a heavy expenditure out of this vote, and money in hand is insufficient to erect the line at present, but as soon as funds are available no time will be lost in proceeding with it.
