Death of the Duke of Clarenoe and Avondale.

The Duke of Clarence and Avondale caught cold at Count Gleichen's funeral, and subsequently went out shooting at Sandringham. He was too ill to be present at the dinner given in celebration of his birthday on the Bth January, and since has gradually became worse. Grave symptoms supervened on the 18th in the Duke of Clarence's case, and the patient was in a critical condition. The Duke died on Thursday at 9 a.m. Cardinal Manning died at § o'clock on Thursday morning.
