Bartelemy St. Hilaire declares that Lord Salisbury is quite right to remain in Egypt until he has completed his mission. A violent hurricane has been experienced in Portugal. The New York Times states that the German Government has secured a monopoly oi the supply oi war materials from the United States in anticipation of European war in the spring.
