Sunday School Jubilee.

(Commuciated.) The Primitive Methodist Sunday School Anniversary was a great success last Sunday. The services were held in the Public Hall at 11 a.m. 230 p.iu, and 6 80 p.m. The services were to he conducted by Mr McCulloch, who was for years the snperiutendant of the school, but an attack of influenza deprived us of that pleasure ; but at a short notice the appointments were supplied locally. Mr Gower took the moming service, and pi*eached from Matt. 5 and 6. He was clear on what constituted righteousness, viz ; the motive. He showed too that unless there was a keen desire for right acting there was the danger of missing the blessing ; because it was promised only to them that hunger and thirst after righteousness.

Mr McLean took ths afternoon service and preached frori.V Psalm 46
