The Parnellites.
Outside of Dublin little attention was paid to Mr Parnell's funeral. The Eng.'ish press comment on the absence of the MeCarthyites. It is now said under 100,000 were present at the funeral. The Nationalists are alarmed at the report that Mr Parnell's heirs will obtain control of the funds in the hands of Paris bankers. It being alleged that the French law permits Mrs Parnell to withdraw part of the Paris fund, and devote it to the support of her late husband's Party. The Parnellites have had a meeting, at which they deoided to adhere to their policy. Before listening to an offer for re-union, they insist upon Mr McCarthy obtaining the plain acceptance by Mr Gladstone of the scheme of Home Rule demanded by the late Mr Parnell. They intend to call a convention of Irish delegates from every county. They have decided to hurry on the establishment ot their proposed new paper. They have issued a manifesto, stating they will have no fellowship with ■ the traitors who loaded Mr Parnell 1 with calumny, and hounded him to death. The seceders are stigmatised as satellites of Mr Gladstone. A relative of the late Mr Parnell will be a candidate for the Cor seat. The Dublin National Club refuses to accept sham Home Rule. They assert they would rather fight alongside the Orangemen. Mr John Redmond or Mr Pierce Mahoney will probably be chosen leader. The Parnellites declare the priests had a large share in the murder of their late leader.
