Tho results of the business for the Fortyfirst Year, ending 31st December, 1889, may be summarised as under : — Fiijst — The number of the New Policies issued was 11,664. Second — The new Assurance business effected was for £3,679)459. Thiive — 1 he New Annual Premium Income amounted to £121,800. Fockth — The net increase to the business, after allowing for loss of income from terminated Policies, was represented by 7028 Policies, assuring £2,---109,199 Fifth — The operations of the year raised the annual income of the Society from £1,512,280 to £1,625,---185, an incrensc in twelve months cf £112,905.
