Mr Knott's Recitals.
• • Mr Knott delivered one of his popular orations to a meeting held at the "Wesleyan Church last night. The attendance was very good and Mr Knott held every one interested to the last. , To-night he will recite Lord Tennyson's Enoch Arden, 'when we shall expect a good attendance, though the small charge of sixpence will be made. The Palmerston Standard, re r erring to Mr Knott's recital of this piece on Wednesday last, says : — " The recital, which occupied an hour and a half, was gone through in a first class manner by Mr Knott, who was frequently applauded," and that a desire was expressed that Mr Kuott would repeat the excellent rocital at some future date.
