The results of the business for the Forty- ' first Year, ending 31st December, 18811, may be summarised as under : — First— The number of the New Policies issued was 2LX 9 664:. Second — The new Assurance business effected was for dESjGTSj^LSQ. Third — The New Annual Premium Income amounted to 5121,500. Founra — The net increase to the business, after allowing for loss of income from terminated Policies, was represented i by 7028 Policies, assuring £325,- - 109,199 Fifth — The operations of the year raised the annual income of the Society from i £1,512,280 to £1,625,- I 185, an increase in twelve months j of £112,905.
