The Queensland Strikes.
At a meeting of Unionists at Barcaldine. the principal of freedom of contract was rejected by 1100 votes, only nine being recorded in favour of it. Four hundred non-unionists have arrived at Bockhampton and gone on to Barcaldine undisturbed. The Blackall Unionists have taken ;i ballot on the question of freedom of rotiiryrt. the result being IHO iigiiiusr imd only four in fvivour of it.
