All Saint's Church.
* A meeting of the members of the above Society was held at the Public Library on Wednesday last. It appeared that it had been convened at the request of the Church Vestry, to determine as to the disposal of the money raised by the late Bazaar, and that a suggestion had been put forward, that as the Rev. A. S. InnesJones, who resides at Bulls had been appointed Curate-in-charge of the district, the money should be expended in building a room for a Sunday School. The meeting decided that the money could not be used for any other purpose than that for which it was raised, namely, towards providing a parsonage for a resident clergyman ; but that as the Bishop had appointed a clergyman to visit Foxton regularly, no steps in the direction of arranging for a resident e'ergyman could at present be undertaken, and that the money should, therefore, be left on deposit for at least twelve months.
