SPORTING.

0 The Foxton Racing Club have published their programme for the Autumn Hack Meeting. Every effort has been made, by offering good stakes, to secure nominations, and as the date is fixed to suit horseowners, after the Falmerston and Feilding meetings, it should be successful. There are only six events and £185 is given for stakes. We believe the individual sums are as large as has been given anywhere for hacks and as the course is almost the best on the coast, the meeting should be popular. The fullest particulars appear in our advertising columns. The Manawatu Bacing Club have fixed their Hack Meeting for 28th March, and give, for seven events, £216. : The Feilding Jockey Club hold their Race Meeting on Easter Monday 1 the 80th March. They have also seven events, but they are mostly open to all race-horses. The Stakes total to £300.
