Eighteen hundred Indian braves attacked Pine Bidge to-day, and by their atrocities have placed that part of the country and its vicinity in a state of terror. One regiment of cavalry had a narrow escapa from destruction, being very nearly entrapped by the Indians. The latter continue their depredat'ons, and have burnt the Catholic Mission, It is expected that war will be declared against the Indians, and that their extermination will ensue. The Indians are attempting to burn Pine Bidge Agency, and are attacking Ohadeon, in Nebraska. This town is filled with women and children, and troops have beeo ordered to the rescue. Mr J. G. Blame, Secretary of State, has issued an order closing all American ports exoept one against the admission of Canadian cattle. The Canadians declare that this action is an attempt by the United States to coerce Canada into yielding to the American claims respecting the Behring Sea fisheries dispute. The United States Government art* sending seven additional armed steamers to effect the seizure of sealers oarrying on their calling in Behring Sea. The American Pacific Squadron will mobilise at Port Townsend, Washington State, in the spring. Sir Julian Paunccfote, British Minis' er, denies that he resigns. Sir Julian Pttuncefote, the British Amba<tf>ador, has informed Mr J. G. Blame, the Secretary for the United States, that the seizure of British vessels in Behring Sea, outside the three-mile limit will meet with immediate and forcible resistance. Advices from c' c dis riots threatened by the Indians state that the 7th Begimont of Cavalry was surrounded in r valley near Clay Creek by a greatl r superior force and the 9fch Regiv ent of Cavalry arrived just in time to rescue, them. !
