+ On Monday Messrs Stevens & Gorton will lease by public auction at Palmerston a number of Educational Reserves. By an Act passed last session it was directed that on< the expiry of any existing lease it shan't be offered for lease by public auction or tender, provided not less than sixty days notice- of such sale shall have been given. The Act also con tains which empowers the Educataibal Commissioners to grant a lease^ror bush lands, for thirty years. Tnis is a concession to those who desire such land which will be duly appreciated. w
