This race., was a chapter of mistakes, Acolyte,* " " and Result ran off twice, and Akeake, Mho was winning by about six lengths, fell at the last hurdle, leaving Tornado to canter home. Dividend, £14 12s. Maiden Hurdle Race— Roger, 1 ; Nikau, 2 ; Waiora, 3. Won easily. Dividend, £3 6s. - Cranley Stakes — Sweet Dream, 1 ; ? : Wakapua, 2 : Potanga, 3. Won easily. Dividend, £4 13s. . ' Onslow Handicap Stakes — Slave ,- Girl, 1 ; Ben Bolt, 2 ; Ngatokorua, 8\ This was the race of the clay. A splendid start was effected.
