Post Office Notice.
* On Christmas Day and New Year's Day the Post Oftice'will be closed all day as far as postal business is concerned. Telegrams may, however, be despatched from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m, and from 7 p.m. to M p.m. On Boxing Day both branches of the Service will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and for telegraph work only from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. All mails will he despatched as usual, except on Boxing Day, when the mails for Palmerston, Wanganui, etc., will lie closed at 8 p.m. the day previous. Private box lobby will be open all day on each holiday.
