Election Items.

Mr John Stevens addressed a large meeting of electors in the Town Hall, Sanson, on Thursday night. Mr A. J. Bailey occupied the chair. The address was listened to with groat intorssfc Auu rub or of questions wero asked, and a voto of thanks and confidence was pr< posed and seconded. A vote of thanks only was moved as an amendment, but on being put to tho meetiug the amendment was lost, and tho vote of confidence was carried by an overwhelming majority. Mr Wilson, who is, we are glad Ito say, ever so much better, has ' been down the coast and addressed some of the electors. At Otaki.
