Johnson ville Sept. 24 Cattle came forward in moderate numbers, and bidding was brisk for good quality, prices advancing Is per lOOlbs over last quotations. Sheep, below re- ' quirements were well competed for. The wethers were barely medium. _ There was a iarge muster of pigs, for which there was plenty of competition, full value being realised throughout. Cattle-— Bullocks, f. 7to £S as, averaging £7 11s ; light weights, £o 4s to £5 17s 6d, overagtng £5 14s 3d. Sheep. — Wethers, 16s ; maiden ewes, 15a 3d ; lambs, 9s to 9s 4d. Pigs.— Large porkers, 253 to 28s 6d ; others. 18s to 21s Gd ; stores, 18.3 7d to 163 9d ; small, 11s. Ox beef, 183 the lOOlbs: wethers, mutton 3Jd per lb.
