Manawatu Rowing Club.
This flub have arranged a series o' pa r oared and scu ling races to be rowed in heats. The first of the boats will be rowed on Tuesday afternoon.
Ihe entries for the pair oared crews are as follows : — Biackl»y and McPhun ; Potter and Cowles ; P. 1 urtis and Cook ; Stansell and Rhodes ; J. and C. Sym"ns ; McMillan and Hindi iff n ; F. Curtis and W. Hunter.
The course is from the te'egraph pole near "Williams & Co's mill, to the no'th end of the wharf.
The entries for the sculling race are as fo lows : — B'ackby, F. Curtis, Cowles, Cook. Hunter, McPhun, Potter, P. Curtis. McMillan and Hinchliffe.
The course i« from the Maori pah to the norh end of the wharf. We give the following tips for the final heats. For the pair oared race — Blackby and McPun . . 1 Potter and Gowles . . . . 2 For the sculling race — Blaokby 1 I<\ Curtis . . 2
