Likely date for the new Elections.

In dealing with the Estimate last night, Mr J. C. Brown talced for information as to th» earliest date at which the general election could take place. The Colonial Secretary said the redistribution of seats could not take effect until the present Parliament diiHolv^d — on the sth of October -and couaequently the Registrars of Electors could not bt appionted until then.
