The Speaker took the chair at 2.30. The afternoon was mainly taken up in answer'ng questions. In the evening Mr Seddon moved th« Second Reading of the Mining Act Amendmpnt Bill. The Minister of Mines approved of it, and the Second Reading was agreed to. Mr Soddon's Auctioneers Bill was aleo Read a Second time. I The House rose at 12.45.
