COMMERCIAL.
♦ At Messrs Stevens and Gorton's Sale at Bulls, says the Advocate, there was a moderately good attendance of buyers. Excellent prices were oh' t lined, and a good demand was experienced, all the sheep but one pen h iving been quitted. The prices o''t-ined were as follows : — Fat cows, from £8 2s (5d to £8 10s ; three to fouryear old bullocks, £3 to £3 10.s ; two'year 'Id steers, £'2 to £2 10. For milkers springing, the pries were from £3 to £-i, and there was a good demand at these values Sheep —Fat \vetlierß IVoiu 11s to 12s 8tl ; stora wethers 10s to 10s 9d ; s-ual woo'ly lambs, 5s ; good shorn 1 irabs from 5s 6d to 6s 3d ; ewes in lamb from 7s 3d to 8s 9d, according to a,e a'-d quality. A good hack was so d for £16. After the stock sale there was a sale of produce which brought good prices. Tho old grandstuud on the Bulls racecouse, which was also eubmitt d to competition, realised £20.
