Resident Magistrate's Court, Foxton.

-+ (Before H. "W. Brabant Esq., E.M.) Batubday, 21st December. A. Burr v. H. Coley— Larceny of a canoe. Mr Gould appeared for complainant, and Mr Kay for accused This case had been heard partially at the last sitting of the Resident Magistrate. On tllo conclusion of the evidence of the complainant, the Magistrate said he would not call upon the solicitor for the accused for any reply, as it was clear that there was not, sufficient evidence to put the accused upon his trial, and that the evidence disclosed a dispute 1 about a canoe, but nothing to justify the charge made. The accused was then discharged.
