ANOTHER MILL BURNT.
+ We aro exceedingly sorry to have to record the loss by fire of Messrs Williams & Oo'a hemp mill yesterday morning. The whole surroundings are suspicions, pointing decidedly to either carelessness or deliberate intention, as the firo broke out at 3 a.m. on M nday morning and the engine flro had not been lighted since Saturday The five cou'd not have therefore occuied from any substance smouldering, mid was therefore ignited on account of ill feeling, or sot alight by somo one sleeping in the hackling shed The loaa in a never* oiu». as the
■whole of the buildings' &># machinery I aro gone, or rendered useie-5, ft^d j there must havo been over throe tons' of dressed fibre also burnt. This firm has been very unfortunate, as softie ntoii'h's ago their fibre shed with its contents' was bttrnt^ and it was Dever understood hoty". It is likely no delay will isike place in the rosurnptkn of business as tho firm have on tho road out a fine new titlgs.no,- and we trust that this piece of bad luctf tatiy be the last they will experience.
