Wirokino Road Board.
The usual monthly meeting of tha above Board was held at the Chairman's residence Totara, on Saturday last at i.30 p.m. Ft sent- J Davies (Chairman), Wardens F> Q. Andrews, J. Kebbell, and E. Gascoi^ne. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The fo'lowing resolutions were agreed to : — That Messrs Tanhouse and Hawel! be alowed 30s per acre for felling the bush on the roads oppo ite their sections. To be paid out of the thirds accruing from the Government. That Mr fiott be instructed, to re poron the Shannon Foxton road.. The report to be in by the next meeting of the Hoard. That Mr Scott be instructed to prepare^ plans and specifications for work required' on the Shannon Fox'oa road to^be ready by next meeting. , That th© report of the committee appointed to accept tenders for the Muhunoa road east notifying they had accepted the tender of Messrs H*ndewoii and V» c Collfor No 1 at £56 15s r.Jid that of Mcnsm 3tfc AvJi-Sle aad MeGxaph for JMo 2 &<. 1 £193 4s, and thai; their acceptance of Mr F. Granny for work on the Kereru west road at £21 12 6d be adopted. •• * ■ That tjhe tender of Mr Dfitby be accepted for the Board's offioes at T.evin for £86 15a and th*» roadman* cottage for the gum of £?6 17s Iha the tender of Kijhard'g be accepted tor the Shannon road for the sum of £188 10s.
