A WARNING.
It might be useful to those young men who entered the Public Hall on Friday night by the window, to inform them that that manner of entering premises which do not belong to them, or whs even hired "by them, is open to very, grave construction. We would venture to suggest that had the constable noticed thenr they might, or at any rate should, have passed the nigut in the look up ou a charge of housebreaking. We may say that the Manager of tho hall is very much annoyod afrthe impudence of the proceedings and were it possible to punish -their ..notion by making a less serious charge, it would be done, as he is aware of he chief delinquents. Surely -it is time these boyish tricks were dqne with, especially by those who are now assuming th) responsibilities of manhood. The names of some have been handed to us, but trusting the action vra* more the result of stupid recklessness than wanton crime, wv refrain from publishing them. As the Ha 1 was occupied for some time, and the owner's oil bui'ut, it would be wiser that some reparation for the taking of other people's property was made.
