Among the number, was the assistant for" the pilot, further police protection, and a subsidy to the coach. Our first request has been granted, The second we believe soon will be, and the last is on a very fair load towards accomplishment We have received a letter from Mr Wilson in which he states that he has brought the matter of subsiding the coach to convey the mails from the Company's line to Foxton before Sir Harry Atkinson, and he has entertained the request very favourably. Under these circumstances, if our mnmber will keep the question steadily in view of the Postmaster General, we may trust to be very soon in receipt of this greit convenience. We think Mr Wilson is to be congratuated on moving so readily in the matter.
