FERE AT FOXTON.
On Tuesday night the store at Messrs Williams & Co's mill, which contained the dressed fibre, baled and loose, was burnt. The employee who locked up on the evening left everything light at five o clock, and about seven the place was consumed. At present there has been nothing to show how the fire originated, and it looks suspiciously like incendiarism. The store was well placed away from the engine and machinery, besides which the engine was not at wurk in the evening. ■ t present nothing has transpired. The loss will run up to between £200 and £300, but we have no doubt the owners will soon pull this lee way UP * '
