FOOTBALL.
+ A football club has been formed by the employes at the Paiaka mill, and we understand a challenge has been received by the seoretary of the local club to pliy a match next j Saturday, the 2_th of May. We would request our local lovers of the "rough-and-tumble " game to getinto form, as we believe the Paiaka boys intend to play a hard game should our local knights accept the challenge. [Since the abo-e was written we believe the challenge has been accepted, and a good game may be looked forward to on Saturday next. Some new blood will don the colours for Foxton, and members are requested to roll out to practice in Whyte's paddock at 4 p.m. tomorrow']
