On Wednesday lait .Mr Grower had the following requisition presented to him: — We the undersigned ratepayers and inhabitants within the newly formed Borough of Foxton, beg most respectfufly that you will, in consequence of the resignation of Ernest Stephen Thynne Esq. our late Mayor, consent to allow yourself to. be nominated to fill the vacancy in the Borough Council.
