LONDON Before the Times-Parnell Com mission, Patrick Delaney deposed that he was a member of the Dublin branch of the Fenians till the year 1882, and said that Tynan was the real " Number One " Witness took an oa»h to murder the Dublin Executive, aud received orders to shoot Judge Lawson and Mr Burke after Mr Forster had been disposed of. It was arranged to shoot Former in Brunswick street on one occasion, but the plan failed in consequence of that gentleman proceeding to his home by another route. Molly was deputed to murder Anderson, the Grown Solictor. Witness stated that he waspresent whenSir Frederick Cavendish and Mr Burke were murdered in Phoenix Park, but he did uoii assist in the murders beyond keeping watch. He confessed, and was sentenced to death by the Special Commission which tried the Phoenix Park murders, but his sentence had since been commuted That he undertook to murder Judge Lawson, but his movements exciting the attention of the dectives who were protecting tho judge, he was arrested and sentenced to 10 years' penal servitude Michael Davitt was on the most intimate terms with Sheridan and Egan, with whom he had important relations. In 1879 he several times attended the joint meetings of the members of the Land Lpague and Fenian or gani>ation, which were held at Dublin, and that Messrs Michael Davitt, Parnell, Daniel Egan, Joseph Biggar John Dillon, Brennxn, and Harris were present on those occasions. The witness named 17 Invincibles, including brennan, Egan, Shetidan, Tyuan (the alleged mysterious " Number One "), and Byrne, who were regarded as leaders by che Feniars, to which party the witness afterward belonged The central administration of the Fenian party issued orders that the members of the organization were not to cppose the wishes and decisions of the Land League. Egan and Byrne supplied them with money at cliffereut times, the Fenians sometimes receiving as much as L4OO at one time, and Mrs Byrne provided them with the knives and revolvers intended to be used in the murder of the Oastlc officials The plan of the murders was discussed by the Invincibles'
Council, who ordered ?osesh l&ady and Timotby Kelly to shoot " Buckshot" Forster. The witness De laney. on the occasion of the Phoenix Park murders, was posted at a certain spot, with instructions to kill anyone crossing King's Bridge while the murder Was proceeding. Bepeated efforts were' mrid'ff ttf fctfl Forster, who had several very narrdw escapes, but they all miscarried. The In vincibles' Council also gave orders to murder Mr Burke and others. Several times the officials were "shadowed" with a view of carrying out this intention, but something turned up each time which caused a failure of the plans, until at la3t Sir Frederick Cavendish and Mr Burke fell victims in Phoenix Park. Immediately after the murders a Committee meeting of the Invincibles was held, at which Byrne produced the hush money, more daggers and revolvers. Brady suggested at this meeting that the Dublin detectives should also be killed, butßyrne objected to this proposal unless they had the authority of Egan. Byrne said he preferred that Earl Spencer should be killed. The witness identified the handwriting of a number of letters as that of Egan. Several of these letters show that Parnell was being considered.
