OTAKI HIGHWAYS' BOARD.
Wednesday, June 8, 1881. A meeting; was held on the above date : Present — Messrs flimcox (chairman), Hadfiold, M'Crae, and; Booth. The minutes of previous meeting were read and cdnfirmed. . Letter from Colonial Secretary's office to Returning Officer, as also notification in Government Gazette of the appointment of Mr Richard Booth as Warden for Ward No 6, in the place of Mr Udy, resigned, was read. The folowing accounts were passed for payment :— Messrs Abel and Millar, building Highway Board office, £7 18s ; J. Gootes, supplying timber, &c, 4JI ; J. Harper, rent of office room, £3 12a. Proposed by J. M'Crae, seconded by R. Booth and carried,— That the next meeting of the Board be held on Wednesday, the 13th July at 2 o'clock P.M.
