(REUTERS' TEL3GRAM3). London, April 19. A sculling race took place today at Southampton, between Edward Trickott and an oarsman named Kirby. The contest resulted in an easy victory for Trickett. April 20. The executors of the will of the late Earl of Beaconsfield have declined a proposal made by the Eight Hon. W. E. Gladstone that the funeral of the deceased should bo publicly performed.
