FOXTON HIGHWAYS BOARD.

Monday, 14th February. A meeting of the Board was held at the Athenaeum on Monday last. PresentMessrs Thynne (chairman), Carter, Easton, Gower, and Cobb. A copy of the valuation made by Mr W. G. Robinson, waa laid before the Board. It was resolved that the next meeting of tho Board be held on a date, to be fixed by the chairman, in about three weeks' time, and to be held iv the evening. Ifc was resolved to call for tenders for cutting two drains and forming road from Easton's boundary towards Mr Robinson's wooden gate. Resold, "That tenders for No. 2 contract i|p_S Ward be advertised again." A number of tenders'* for different work.' were received and considered.

Resolved. ''That the tender for No. 3 contract No. 2 Ward be accepted.
