REGATTA NEWS.
The Wanganui Herald mentions the following crews as having )>een selected from the Wanganui Rowing Club to practice for the Foxton Ttcgt&tsk±-^S&tiof~-CFewrTFow*-/■lL(atmte)7 Wheeler, Montgomerie, and Bethune. This crew will compete for the inrigged and outrigqed fours. Junior crew— M. Smith, Marshall, Allison and Woon. — Mr Drew's Cup will be rowed for on the 29th January by members who have nevet started for an advertised race. —The crew from the Union Club have not yet been selected.— A project is on foot tor a crew to take down the whalnboat Danger for the Wellington Regatta. Powell, Hackett, Woods, M'Qonagle, and Hughes are spoken of as a likely crew.
