Queensland, Earl Cadogan presided and proposed Macilwraith's health. The Liberals have now gained 8i seats from the Conservatives. A Liberal demonstration took plac< to-night, at which Lovd Hartingtoi made a speech. He denied state xnents which have been made to th< effect that the Liberal party was divided, and said it was^moxe unitec than ever it had been. The rumour recently published ii a London newspaper that Theebaw King of Burmah, was dead is entirely unconfirmed.
