(from our own correspondent.) Welijngton, Thursday, 7 p.m. Bowden, the Supreme Court bailiff, has been charged with committing a rape on a woman in a house of which he was in possession officially. He was remanded to Saturday. Butler, accused of murder at Dun- ; edin, has been committed for trial. He accused Inspector Mallard with attempting to prejudice the public - against him.
