ARREST.
A man named Francis Raines was summoned to appear at the Palmerston Court yesterday, to answer a charge of disobeying an order of the Court to contribute £1 per week towards the support of bis wife lie bolted per traiu yesterday morning, and reached Foxton er> route for Welling* ton. The Court sat and sentenced him to six months' imprisonment. This was telegraphed to Constable Droper, who arrested him, and took him to Palmeraton per afternoon train. He went on Wanga. nui last night.
