(liefore E. S. Thynne, Esq., J.P.) BREACH OF THE PEACE. John Burke was charged with creating a breach of the peace in a public place. Mr Putter, proprietor of the Manawatu Hotel, deposed that defendant came drunk to his house, and he was compelled, owing to die trouble he gave, to have him locked up. Defendant said he knew nothing of tho affair, having been in liquor. He 'expressed his re. gret for what had occur rod, and the lieneh dismissed him witii a caution.
