The Canterbury Cora Exchange report for the week : — Business is of a nominal character, and the values of all classes of produce remain unchanged, with the exception of wheat, which is nominally a shade easier. The decidedly favorable prospeotß of a good harvest, combined with the probability of good prices ruling for most olaases of produce, has imparted a more buoyant tone to t^e fanning community. "Wheat, first-class milling samples readily command 4s 6d to 4s 8d ; medium, 4s to 4s 4d ; ohick wheat, 3s 6d to 3s 8d ; oats, firstclass feed, 2a 5d to 2s 7d ; seed samples, 2s 8d to 2s 9d ; best milling, 2s 8d to 2s lOd ; bailey, Bupply bare — prime malting would realise 6s 6d ; medium to good, 4s 6d to 6s ; feed parcels, 2s to 8s ; potatoes, demand has decreased, holders being now more anxious to quit— £3 108 to £3 12s Odare the outside values obtainable; early potatoes of beat quality in demand at £9 to £10; grass seed, supply very full, demand only moderate, best town- dressed Bamples, 5s 6d to 5s Od ; f nir farmers' cleaned, 4s 6d to 6s ; but - ter, 9d to lOd ; cheese, 6d to 6Jd.
