Sydney, Friday. The Commercial Banking Co., Sydney have declared a dividend of 25 per cent , and increased the capital to £600,000. Sir jflenry Parkes' resolutions in the Assembly were carried by 23 to 13. The debate on the Hon. Mr Docker's counter-resolutions in the Council was adjourned, in consequence of the death of Sir Deas Thompson. Melbourne, Friday. Negotiations are proceeding for tho amalgamation of the Commercial, Australian, and European Banks, and for the transference of the business of the latter to the former. Breudstuffs are advancing in consequence of cable advices. In the coursing match, Lelax won the "Waterloo CJup. Weiberg's trial commences on Monday. Melbourne, Saturday. Hearn, of New Zealand, won the sculling match against Winy;, of Victoria, by one length.
