THOSE "OUTSIDE" TICKETS.
TO THE BDITOK OF THE MA.NAWATU HERALD. Sir— Being detained at Foxton for a day, I attended the concert on Wednesday evening, and I must congratulate your town on the possession of such an excellent lot of voices. I was agreeably surprised at the success of the concert, and hope that the Society will go on and prosper. I might suggest that it would have been better if the programme had been a little shorter. But I could not help remarking one thing— either, that a lot of people who had outside tickets must be very hard up, or else they are very mean. From the low price of admittance ctiarged, I should have thought that if men could go to the hall, they would pay their shilling and go inside. Hoping the Society will achieve greater success in the future, and wiahing it all future prosperity, I am, &0., Australian Visitor.
