I T is hereby publicly notified that .1 it is tlic intention of the above Council at its meeting-, on MONDAY, 2nd June, to s-rike a general Rate of one shilling in tlin £ on the annual value of all rateable property in tho County of Manawatu, and that such ruto is lor a period of one year from the Ist day of April, 1879, to the 3 1st March, 1880. The Rate will be due and payable on the 3rd day of June, 1879, at the office of the Council, Foxton.
