Elaborate preparations are .being made to celebrate the Governor's arrival at Auckland. A procession, banquet, and ball will be held. The new Supreme Court buildings, and Post and Telegraph Offices, are to be erected of brick on reclaimed land.
Mr Q. Hunter; as yet is the only candidate for the Mayoralty.
