A meoting was held on the 12th May, at 7 p.m. Present — Messrs Simcox (chairman), Hadfleld, Udy, and M'Crae. " " The following lenders were received for y the formation and metalling of 9 chains of a road between Lar-gley's corner and a peg near Market Square :— William Bevan,-4ft — 10s ; Henia te Ao and Hoani Taipua, £3 lUs : Kipa te Whatanui, £3 10s ; T. Udy, £3 14s; J. Cootes and Grant, £4; Hugh Greer, £4 2s 6d; F. Bright, £i 4s; W. Langley,£J,'los. The'tenderof Wi iterant . v v-
